You need to know in which county the divorce was handled (it should be the county in which your ex is a resident). Then you can contact the court for that county and request a copy of the divorce decree. It’s time consuming but worth it. Or, if your ex went through an attorney, you can contact them and they will give you the information needed to obtain a copy of the decree. Good luck.
